Pregnancy services

You just got pregnant and you live in Germany? Or you are already a few months into your pregnancy and are planning to move to Germany? If you are as excited about this new adventure but also a bit worried about understanding what having a baby in Germany is like, you've come to the right place. I specialize in accompanying future and new parents so they understand everything baby-related in Germany: the pregnancy, the birth, the red tape around a baby's birth, childcare etc.

Let me guide you, I am an expert in the field of new parenthood, who has already accompanied dozens on families in their choices and helped them understand this new phase of their life with clarity and serenity.

Pregnancy Premium Package

220€

For the parents who want thorough and individual guidance throughout the pregnancy tailored to their circumstances

What you get:

  • 3 x 1 hour of consultation to go through all there is to-do and think about when having a baby in Germany
  • You will be able to ask questions relevant to your specific situation
  • A personalized pregnancy calendar with all the pregnancy to-dos and their timeline
  • The relevant information sheets, contacts and lists as discussed during the consultation

Typically we will have one consultation per pregnancy trimester. However, if that isn't possible, we will condense the consultations over a shorter time period.

  • First consultation: organizing your pregnancy and birth (midwife, OBGYN, place of birth, urgent paperwork, birth team)
  • Second consultation: paperwork. Discussing ins and outs of child benefit, maternity and parental leave, birth certificate, immigration etc.
  • Third consultation: topic of your choice. Most families in Berlin want to discuss the childcare (Kita) system, but it can also be preparing for post-partum, child safety etc.

Consultations last one hour for each topic and take place online (until further notice due to the CoVid-19 pandemic). For the Elterngeld / Kindergeld / Mutterschaftsgeld, this does not include the support with filling in the forms but information on the possible options according to your individual situation (employed or self-employed, publicly or privately insured etc).
